About
About me… Hi! My name is Kaya, I am a tattooist in the lovely state of Wisconsin. I've lived here my whole life, along with my two younger brothers. I've always loved art, of course, but was specifically interested in the more macabre and strange side of it. Tattooing has always been my dream, even as a kid, and here I am now in my full time career! I started my apprenticeship in 2023 at the amazing Homeward Bound Tattoo, my little home away from home. Even in just 3 years, l've learned so much about everything tattooing has to offer, and I'm just getting started. It's so much more than a job to me; it's a part of who l am, and everything I stand for. I absolutely love the fact that I get to make people happy with my art, and I strive for only the best for my clients. As far as style, I don't turn much down, and I love trying new things and expanding my horizons. I do, however, love anything creepy, dark, botanical, vintage, ornamental, or just plain silly. I love black and gray, color, and anything American Traditional. Yes, even coverups and fine line!! I’m always working to expand my skills and learn more so I can give each of my clients a better experience than the last, and to give them tattoos that will last as well. I prioritize my clients' health, safety, and comfort just as much as making sure they leave with a tattoo that makes them feel way more badass than when they first sat down at my station. You're safe with me! Before I started tattooing, I was a CNA and worked with the elderly/disabled. I also used to play roller derby for the Brewcity Bruisers. Nowadays, I dedicate most of my life to my art and enjoying time with my amazing partner, two kitties, and my family. Family is everything to me; if I'm not at work, I'm probably with them! I am a huge collector of antiques, taxidermy, and other oddities (really just anything weird), and love to travel.Business Hours
